Summer...

I woke up this morning with Google on my mind. Over the past few days I have been analyzing what I want to do with my summer, a frequent reoccurrence for me. After hitting the keys, and undoubtedly Googling, I have narrowed down what I want to do. It all started with a cup of coffee, my laptop, and Monster. I was dreaming up creative words to put in the search box, hoping that I would get something different than I have already read about pop op. I must mention that I am on my summer break (I teach), and that I don't typically sit around doing this everyday. It happens to be extremely rainy here and I was feeling like I needed something to do. Anyway, the search terms went something like this: write, teach, create, etc. Nothing very specific, such as graphic designer. But, after looking at a few things in this field I decided that I will start on this quest. I need a creative outlet, and why not get paid if I can. What a good summer job to help my husband with his company. I am officially trying my hand at "summer graphic designing" :)

Do You Prefer Cottage Cheese or Orange Peel?

Today I have decided to arrest the theif that stole my bikini body: cellulite. There are so many unfortunate names for the lumpy stuff that runs up and down my legs and dimples in all the wrong places (not on my face!). I haven't decided if I prefer the nickname cottage cheese or orange peel. Needless to say, this fat that pushes against my skin and makes me run for cover needs to be rid of! This is something I have been wrestling with for years, and I have finally had ENOUGH! After doing some research and deciding that creams and lotions are not going to take away the little puckers (hehe!), I have decided to hit the grocery store and the streets. Over the next month I am going to be blogging my journey as I eat on the "aniti-cullulite" diet and do exercises that will hopefully rid my legs of this unsightly stuff.

First Up: I am Publix bound. I will be stocking my fridge with fruits and veggies as well as lots of fish. Apparently, the 100 calorie packs and "diet" sodas do nothing but render more cellulite- yuck! So gone with the easy and in with the healthy...I am thankful that there is pre-cut produce out there (I'm sure a woman thought of this little convenience!).

Secondly: I am going to gear up my ipod because we will be taking a few jogs a week together. It seems in order to really get rid of the dimples, you have to be prepared to invest the time to exercise- duh! I didn't say this was going to be easy, but I do plan to take a picture of my legs to keep me motivated.

Finally: Agua, H20, or simply put: water. This is the key to get rid of the toxins. Because I am trying to be enviromentally aware, I will be using a refillable bottle so that it can easily travel with me and I can keep up with the amount I have had.

On my journey I will not be consuming any caffeine or alchohol. This is highly reccomended to keep the toxins out. Whew- I am warning my husband now so that I am not blogging about divorce or seperation a month from now.
